Music is an integral part of the Worship Service at First Presbyterian Church in Portsmouth. The spoken Word is illuminated by coordinated Anthems and solos presented by the choir as an additional interpretation intended to create a unified message.

The Music Ministries includes the Adult Choir, Hand Bell Choir, Children's Choir and many opportunities for vocal or instrumental soloists to play an integral part of our services.
Every summer, the Music Ministries sponsors a Courtyard Concerts
series of eclectic presentations in the Courtyard for enjoyment of
the congregation and all who either come to hear or just wander by.
